Teaching Philosophy
There are many ways one can learn to play the guitar. Chris tailors his lesson plans to fit each individual student’s learning style and favorite types of music. Starting with instruction on how to read music notation for the guitar, Chris nurtures an understanding of pitch, rhythm, general musical terms and musicianship. He also introduces guitar tablature, music theory and ear training. Lessons are paced to keep the students interested and not over burdened.
